Still Red on Retin-A?

I have been using Obagi with 0.025% Tretinoin (Retin-A) for 3 months and am loving it!

Yes, the first month was very harsh, but the results have been 100% worth it! Obagi Nu-Derm has not only significantly improved my freckles, hyperpigmentation and fine lines, but has also remarkably helped my acne break-outs and scarring.

If you are struggling with maintaining the use of Tretinoin, have no fear! There are other tools available to sooth and calm the dryness, redness, and peeling that can sometimes accompany the initiation of retinoids into any skincare line. T3™ Foaming Cleanser, T3™ Soothing Moisturizer, and T3™ Calming Wipes are products which were specifically formulated to provide the cleansing and moisturizing effects necessary with the initiation of retinoid therapy.

T3™ Foaming Cleanser is a mild, non-irritating, non-soap cleanser, which features antioxidant Coenzyme Q-10 and green tea extract. T3™ Soothing Moisturizer is a light, non-greasy moisturizer featuring the soothing complex of aloe vera, dipeptide-I, and bisabolol. T3™ Calming Wipes are individually packaged pads with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera gel which soothe and cool the skin while gently assisting in the removal of oils and residue of the skin. All of these products are a great way to increase the efficacy of Tretinoin in a system that addresses the issue of over drying. I even keep T3™ Calming Wipes in my gym bag as a quick and easy way to cleanse and add moisture to my skin after a hard work-out or a few hours at the pool.

For those of you who are just starting, hang in there! I know it can be very uncomfortable in the beginning due to the excessive peeling and dryness (I know, I’ve been there!), but if you stick with it, you will start seeing great results after about one month.
