There are several exciting additions to Timeless Skin Solutions that I'd like to share with you. First of all, on Monday, August 7, I'll be the proud new owner of the Cutera Solera Opus. What does this mean? I'll be able to offer hair removal, pigmented lesion (sunspots) removal, skin rejuvenation, acne treatment and facial vein removal, at both the Short North and Dublin locations. Hair removal in the Short North will be limited to skin without a tan and non-African Americans. Treatment for the darker skin types continues to be available in Dublin.
Derma Rx has had to discontinue the popular 3A product that includes hydroquinone with kojic acid. I have spent time looking into a replacement product and am very happy to announce that I will be one of the first physicians in the US to carry Kinerase's new Pro + Therapy line. Kinerase will offer medical grade products. This line will include products to improve skin roughness, fine lines, mottled pigmentation and includes a hydroquinone product. This is an excellent addition to skin care for post microderm and skin care procedures. I will have a fall special that includes a series of 5 intense pulse light treatments and the Kinerase skin care. With a microdermabrasion during the series, skin will be left with a clearer tone and more even coloring.
I will continue to have prescription hydroquinone (product 3) through Derma Rx without any additional boosting agents, for those whose hyperpigmentation is more mild.
